Transformers: The Last Knight, the final Transformers film to be directed by noted stuff-exploder Michael Bay, now has a new trailer that you can point at and say stuff like "See? Plenty of stuff blows up in this one too." Last Knight sees Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci reprising their Age of Extinction roles alongside OG franchise stars John Turturro, Tyrese Gibson, and Josh Duhamel.

As the franchise continues its post-LaBeouf descent into explodier territory, we can apparently expect roughly one new Transformers thing each and every year for the foreseeable future. As Varietyannounced back in February, Paramount already has Transformers movies lined up for 2017, 2018, and 2019. One of those entries will be a Bumblebee origin story.

Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura toldCollider in August that Last Knight will explore the Transformers mythology, including closer looks at how beloved characters like Megatron actually became Megatron. "So the characters that are involved in there are Megatron before he's Megatron, Optimus before he's Optimus, the Librarian, the Quintessons, there's a whole group of things that have to do with how, in a sense, the Transformers were birthed, and also with how they were divided," Di Bonaventura said. "What brought up the division, and what were the jealousies involved."

Transformers: The Last Knight, also starring Jerrod Carmichael and Anthony Hopkins, will probably make a billion dollars when it hits theaters June 23, 2017.
