Ice Cube has inked a massive TV deal set to include potential comedies, dramas, reality shows, cartoons, and something called "specials." 20th Century Fox TV and Cube Vision agreed to a "two-year pact" Friday, Deadlinereported. Jeff Kwatinetz, Cube's manager, will oversee the Cube Vision's television operations.

"I'm very happy and excited to work with the talented and creative people at Fox," Cube said in a statement. "Their ability to bring groundbreaking television of every type through both cable and broadcast makes them the perfect partner for Cube Vision." Cube Vision, founded by the Fist Fight star and Matt Alvarez, previously produced the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton and this year's Barbershop: The Next Cut.

"[Cube] is a performer, a songwriter, a recording artist, an actor and a filmmaker, and his work speaks to a broad, multigenerational audience," Fox Television Group CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman said in a joint statement Friday. "We've been dying to be in business with him for years, and we think the combination of Cube and his incredibly talented producing partner Jeff Kwatinetz is going to result in some very compelling television."

The deal will see Cube and Kwatinetz rocking the executive producer distinction on a variety of projects, with plans to branch out into seemingly every genre or format currently in existence. The deal also gives 20th Century Fox TV and its Fox 21 Television Studios division access to Cube Vision's dense library of music publishing rights for potential use on future series.
