Anyone looking for a TV hosting job? The View is about to have an opening, as Raven-Symoné is expected to depart the talk show before year's end. According to Deadline, Raven already has her next nostalgia-drenched project lined up: a sequel series to the '00s Disney classic That's So Raven.

The announcement of Raven's View exit was made at the top of Thursday's episode. "I'm excited and sad, but I have an announcement to make," she told viewers. "We're doing a That's So Raven 2. With no real title. There's no title yet. But I'm calling it That's So Raven 2. I'm very excited." Raven-Symoné became a full-time View voice in June 2015. When work begins on the new Disney series, Raven will relocate to Los Angeles.

For the new series, Raven will return to the role of Raven Baxter while also serving as executive producer. Raven will be portrayed as a divorced mother with children of her own, one of whom is lucky enough to have inherited Raven's special abilities. Scott Thomas and Jed Elinoff (Worst. Prom. Ever.) will pen the pilot.

In a statement to Deadline Thursday, Disney Channels Worldwide's EVP of Original Programming said all eyes are on the potential "future" of the growing That's So Raven franchise. "Her performance in That's So Raven is timeless," Adam Bonnett said. "We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we're looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family."
