Michael Moore is hitting Trump supporters with a nice surprise just in time for Election Day. Moore revealed Tuesday that his new film Michael Moore in TrumpLand would be making a last-minute premiere at the IFC Center in New York City that evening. The best part? Tickets for the surprise event are absolutely free:

*FREE* sneak preview w/ MM Tues at 9:30pm, regular shows start Wed! https://t.co/E6tAWwMl7k https://t.co/Pe4BQc8WQZ

The film is loosely based on a one-man play that Moore was originally planning to run in Ohio, Deadlinereported. However, according to Moore, the higher-ups involved with mounting the performance ultimately deemed him "too controversial" for such a thing. Peep the official synopsis of TrumpLand below, per IFC:

See the film Ohio Republicans tried to shut down. Oscar-winner Michael Moore dives right into hostile territory with his daring and hilarious one-man show, deep in the heart of TrumpLand in the weeks before the 2016 election.

Moore had been teasing the project in recent days, referencing The Crucible and promising the nation an "October surprise."

Yes, some rumors may be true. I "might" be putting the finishing touches on an "October Surprise" for this election. Then again...

Though not as down-to-the-wire, Moore took a similarly well-time approach with the release of his 2004 documentary Fahrenheit 9/11. The film, which premiered at that year's Cannes Film Festival and ultimately bagged the Palme d'Or, took an incisive look at the George W. Bush White House and the oft-criticized invasion of Iraq in 2003:
