A new trailer for Andrea Arnold's American Honey has arrived, this time fittingly soundtracked by the distinctive voice of E Street Band boss Bruce Springsteen. The musically-charged road trip film made quite the splash at this year's Cannes Film Festival, where Arnold's ode to the freedom of youth bagged the Prix du Jury. The latest peek at the film, Arnold's first movie to be filmed outside of the U.K., shows stars Shia LaBeouf and Sasha Lane traversing the American landscape to the sounds of one of the most American voices in the game, our guy Bruce.

Arnold spoke withIndieWire back in May about the unique experience of bringing the nearly three-hour American Honey to the big screen and revealed she made a series of solo road trips to get acquainted with the film's expansive setting. "I got to see an awful lot as I was traveling," Arnold said. "I got quite upset about some of the towns I went to. It seemed really different to me than in the U.K. When people don't have money, they can't get healthcare and they can’t do things like go to the dentist, and those kinds of things really shocked me."

The film centers on a traveling sales crew tasked with hawking subscriptions via the startlingly personal door-to-door method, with Star (Sasha Lane) taking solace in the presence of Jake (Shia LaBeouf) while pondering the meaning of, well, everything. The plot structure is clearly loose, leaving plenty of room for the creative energy of the film to breathe and move along to its stacked soundtrack.

American Honey also stars Riley Keough, Arielle Holmes, McCaul Lombardi, Will Patton, and more. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in the U.S. on Sept. 30.
