R.I.P Taylor Swift Mural Pops Up In Melbourne's Hosier Lane

The mural reads "in loving memory of Taylor Smith 1989-2016”.

It's pretty common knowledge at this point that Taylor Swift was hit with the ether by a reckless Kim Kardashian-West this week, who defended Swift's recent claims against her husband about his song "Famous".

With a quick Snapchat upload, the case against Swift was blown wide open, and many pronounced the pop starlet dead after the public airing.  Taking that idea one step further, one local artist has decided to memorialise Swift, honouring her death with a mural.

Artist Lushsux is rumoured to be responsible for the piece, posting images of the mural to social media and adding his own hilarious commentary. "Please pay your respects at Hosier Lane today by laying flowers or lighting a candle in mourning, taken from us too soon sweet princess," he wrote on Instagram under a picture of the memorial.

It also reads “in loving memory of Taylor Smith 1989-2016”, with the surname perhaps altered to avoid any legal recourse. It's possibly important to note that Lushsux is the same artist who painted up a mural of one of Kim Kardashian's naked selfies, so he has some form in this particular area.

Unsurprisingly, Swift, who was apparently last sighted on the Gold Coast, is yet to make comment from beyond the grave. While it's certainly the most conspicuous one so far, we're very sure that this won't be the last time we're reminded of the singer's burial on social media in the wake of being cancelled out by Kim.
