The first footage from Wonder Woman debuted on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con that got fans excited to see Gal Gadot in action.

Gadot, who plays Diana Prince, opens with a scene on the beach introducing Steve Trevor’s character Chris Pine. The teaser is heavy on action, but it gives a sneak peek at the differences between Themyscira and the real world. “I had no father,” Gadot tells Trevor later in the trailer when he asked if she has ever met a man before. “I was brought to life by Zeus.” And his reply shows the kind of dynamic they’ll have: “Well, that’s neat.”

The film, directed by Patty Jenkins, is set to release on June 2, 2017. Wonder Woman expands on Gadot’s introduction in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Gadot shared the feature’s stunning poster on Friday, writing, “A dream come true! Happy to finally share this with you all.”
