Are they going to compete with the Playstation VR?

The NX is Nintendo’s recently announced new console. Ok, the Wii U hasn’t been the most successful machine ever, but we’ll always be interested in what the N does next — they’ve constantly been the most fun, innovative and creative voice in gaming.

The NX was originally scheduled to come out this year, but now a rumour is circulating that it’s not going to drop until 2017. And the reason? They’re adding in VR capabilities. The Playstation VR will be out for Christmas, so it’s not a surprise that Nintendo might think they need to add it in to compete. They have also always been about pushing forward how games are played, and we’d be pretty hyped to see what Mario creator and gaming legend Shigeru Miyamoto would do with VR. However, the last time Nintendo attempted to do VR was the Virtual Boy, the notorious 1995 system that gave people headache and was one of the company’s biggest failures. Still technology has definitely improved since then.
