Curb Your Enthusiasm fans may be put out of their misery soon as Larry David is thinking about bringing the show back. As of late David has kept busy by hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time where he's impersonated democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, including once alongside Sanders himself.

It's been so long since Curb Your Enthusiasm last aired that Barack Obama is almost done serving a second term as president and the country is just months away from electing a new president. Curb stopped airing in September 2011 after its eighth season.

The never-ending wait for the show's return looked like it would soon end last year when Curb co-star Jeff Garlin got fans excited when he said there was a "51 percent" chance more Curb was on the way. Then there were rumors about a new season of Curb and a movie on the way. Complex's own Frazier Tharpe already pitched an idea for season nine.

But the best update about a possible new season comes from Curb co-star J.B. Smoove who says David is "thinking about coming back" to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Smoove told the story on The Rich Eisen Show saying the revelation stemmed from a phone call between him and David.

"I call Larry every two weeks, because he's old, he's a busy man, so I always check on older people," I just talk about regular stuff with him, it's not always Curb stuff. But this time, aha! He brings up Curb Your Enthusiasm; I don't ever bring it up."

Here's where it gets interesting.

"He starts off with his little, 'Ehhhhh, you know, I'm thinking about coming back.' But see, that's great because he has not said no, which puts us in a great position for possibilities...that means it's still going." Smoove continued, "If Larry does not say no, there's a possibility he may say yes. And then he went extra. He said, 'If I do come back, would you be available?' I said, 'You know something Larry, I'll be available. just call me, give me early notice, and I'll be there.' I'll move anything to the side for Curb Your Enthusiasm, which would be a fabulous thing to do. Season nine would be fabulous."
