Doctor Strange's New York Sanctum Is Now on Google Maps

If it's on Google Maps, it's got to be real.

Captain America: Civil War still isn’t out for a few weeks, but the hype machine is already in full force for the next Marvel flick, Doctor Strange. We’ve already seen the trailer, poster, and Benedict Cumberbatch’s beard, but there’s a bit of viral marketing that you might not have noticed yet. Strange’s “Sanctum Sanctorum” — basically his magical HQ and old stately home from the comics — has been added to Google Maps. Despite obviously not being real, it appears on the New York map. Yeah, it is just more marketing from Disney to convince us to give them our money, but it’s still pretty cool.

The film’s director Scott Derrickson pointed it out on Twitter:
