Channing Tatum Is About to Get "All Up in That Golden Circle," Announces 'Kingsman' Sequel Casting on Twitter

This is awesome.

That anticipated Gambit movie might be off the schedule for now, but Channing Tatum is filling his post-Magic Mike life with a touch of English class. The actor is set to star in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the follow up the 2014 hit spy flick.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, he made the big reveal via Twitter on Wednesday night. “I'm about to get all up in that Golden Circle,” he wrote. While we don’t know what his role will be as of yet, we’re pretty sure you won’t see him gyrating to the sensual sounds of Ginuwine anywhere in the blockbuster film.

Tatum joins the company of Taron Egerton and Mark Strong, who previously starred in the first film. Colin Firth is also said to be reprising his role because if Hollywood has taught us anything, it’s that death isn’t always permanent (fictionally speaking, kiddos). Rumor has it music legend Elton John is in talks to also join the cast and again, no pelvic sorcery is to be expected.

The Golden Circle continues the journey of Eggsy (Egerton), who goes from mouthy delinquent to joining a secret group of Britain’s greatest operatives. The film is set to arrive in theaters in June of next year.
