No more Loki after Thor 3? Say it ain't so...

Admittedly one of the best things about the first Avenger’s film was Tom Hiddleston as Loki, so it would be devastating to the MCU if they lost one it’s greatest villains. It turns out though that may be the case as he’s not certain if he’ll return to the role after the third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, which comes out November 3 2017.

Speaking to The Daily Beast, Hiddleston said “Thor 3 will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years, I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate”. When asked if he’d be at least making an appearance in the next Avengers film (Avengers: Infinity War Part I) his response was even less encouraging. “I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know,” he said “They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.”

Many fans agree that his role as the Norse god of mischief is one of the best portrayals of a Marvel villain (not counting Kingpin because that’s Netflix) to be featured in their cinematic universe so far.
