As the release of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War draws closer, the buzz surrounding the sequel to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier grows increasingly louder. So far, we know that the film won't be rated R and that it's poised to be the longest feature film in Marvel's history. There have also been a bevy of exciting trailers for the third installation in the Captain America trilogy, including one that urged us to choose sides between Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (ChrisEvans) and another that confirmed Spider-Man's anticipated appearance. Now there's some real evidence that this flick will live up to all the hype: Collider reports that co-star Sebastian Stan was left speechless after watching a cut of the movie.

While speaking to Collider Stan elaborated on his first experience watching the film:

“I sat there and basically there was a bowl of candy and fruit and gum in front of me and then there were sparkling waters and I basically sat on the edge of my couch the entire time and ate through the entire bowl of candy. I was overly stimulated with this movie, which I’m so proud to be in because everyone is fucking awesome in it. Everyone is fucking fantastic. I walked out of it speechless, and I worked on the movie and I was there! I walked out of there and I had back pain from leaning.”

Although main actors Downey Jr. and Evans haven't shared any inside opinions on the film, it seems like Stan's initial rave review should be enough to sate us until the film is released on May 6. Based on what the actor has to say about Captain America: Civil War, it seems that we can relax a bit now—the film should be everything we had hoped for and maybe even more.
