The only infographic more overwhelming than an infographic of the upcoming films in the Marvel universe for the next couple of years and the DC universe combined is this one. A website took it upon itself to list almost every actor that's stepped into the shoes of your favorite superheroes, whether that be on film, TV, etc. Ben Affleck a.k.a. Batfleck is one of the newest additions to the infographic for his portrayal of Batman in this weekend's record breaking Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Affleck, of course, previously played Daredevil onscreen. And if you didn't know that the infographic will be sure to tell you while telling you about other actors who have pulled double duty, like Ryan Reynolds, whose Deadpool has now become the highest grossing R-rated film.
As Comicbook.com reports the infographic was mapped out by an Australian website of which I don't know the name because it’s currently down after getting so much traffic. Covering heroes from both Marvel and DC the infographic includes the bigger names like Superman, the aforementioned Batman as well as BvS star Wonder Woman, and Thor. So you won't find the Guardians of the Galaxy gang here nor future Marvel all-stars Black Panther and Doctor Strange.
Actor portrayals of each superhero are listed chronologically and identified as either a film performance, TV performance, or voiceover performance. Because how can you ignore Will Arnett the best Batman of all?
The infographic isn't without its flaws though. Comicbook.com points out some actors weren't included under some of the characters and that video game voiceover actors were slipped. The infographic also misidentifies Michael Rosenbaum (who played Lex Luthor and voiced The Flash) with a mixed up photo.
Besides that it's pretty informative. How else would I've known Will Friedle (best known for Boy Meets World) voiced Deadpool in an animated series? Here's the infographic below.
