Leslie Jones doesn't seem like the type of person to hold back. She cussed outKeenan Thompson only a few days after joining the cast of Saturday Night Live (don't worry—they're best friends now), and her outspoken hilarity is one of the best parts of the new Ghostbusters trailer. Despite the trailer's success, it's no secret the Ghostbusters reboot, which Jones stars in along with Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Melissa McCarthy, has gotten some hate from OG fans who don't want to see the franchise changed.

Evidently Jones has been on the receiving end of some of the backlash. In the film she plays an MTA worker, which some might see as a step down from the physicists and mechanics played by the rest of the cast. But Jones shut down contempt for the MTA—and for "regular people"—by tweeting a message she received from a real-life MTA worker who was touched to see herself represented on screen.

The new Ghostbusters is out on July 22, and Leslie Jones would like you to go see it.
