Keanu Reeves will clearly be prepared to shred a proverbial bad guy or two in the next chapter of John Wick, as evidenced by some recently gifted footage of his immersive weapons training. Plot details surroundingJohn Wick: Chapter Two, as previously reported, still remain relatively scarce ahead of its 2017 release. "For us it was just, what is the next chapter? What is the continuation of this story?" Reeves told IGN on Tuesday. "Opening up the world, the underground world. The world behind the world in terms of the assassins." According to Reeves, if one were to consider John Wick a metaphorical "black belt," then John Wick: Chapter Two is indeed "a third degree black belt."

The first film, co-directed by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, quickly proved a critical and commercial success. Against an estimated budget of $20 million, Box Office Mojo notes that John Wick garnered more than $43 million at the American box office. Globally, the instaclassic was massive enough to pull the film's worldwide haul to just under $90 million.

Is Keanu season once again upon us? Nah. It's always Keanu season.
