The Asylum are a low-budget film production company who put out a very specific kind of gimmicky product. At first they made their name making straight-to-DVd knock offs of big movies — Transformers became Transmorphers, and Alien vs Predator became Alien vs Hunter. Then they found their true calling, making various {specific shark} vs  {other specific shark} movies, culminating in the shockingly-not-very-good Sharknado trilogy.

But now they have a whole new game. Dead 7 is a western were members of various 90s boybands team up to fight zombies. Behold NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and AJ McLean and also members of 98 Degrees and O-Town uniting in the wild west to fight the undead. Oh, and there’s also a samurai in there as well.

It debuts on SyFy in the US on April 1, but despite that date, it appears to actually be a real movie.
