Oscar-winning actress Kathy Bates calling Melissa McCarthy a "natural born cocksucker?" Check. McCarthy swatting a tennis ball into a dude's throat? Check. A Girl Scout offering to tell someone to "buy my cookies or I'll fucking kill you?" Check.
The R-rated, red band trailer for The Boss has arrived, and it is a masterpiece of trash talking, trash talking and more trash talking, and honestly, isn't that all you want Melissa McCarthy to do in a movie anyway? Seriously, just like 90 straight minutes of that would work just fine.
The comedy follows McCarthy's character, one of the richest women in the world, who goes to prison Martha Stewart-style after getting busted for insider training. After that, she's forced to move in with her former employee played by Kristen Bell.
It's a big time for McCarthy right now in general. She's hosting Saturday Night Live this week with musical guest Kanye West to promote The Boss, which comes out on April 8. She also recently wrapped up filming on the final episodes of her CBS sitcom Mike and Molly, which ran for six seasons (but we're not holding that against her).
After that, she stars alongside SNL vets Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon in Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot that comes out on July 15.
