It follows his excellent 'Suicide and Me' documentary from last year.

Professor Green surprised a lot of people with his BBC Three documentary Suicide and Me last year. The rapper spoke candidly about his dad taking his own life seven years ago, and investigated how suicide has become the biggest killer of British men under 45. It drew widespread plaudits, not just from fans of his music, but also the wider media that hadn’t necessarily heard of him before.

He now returns to the channel with a new film tonight, called Hidden and Homeless, where he looks at the harsh realities of people living on the streets. "I've done another documentary—this time covering the growing problem of youth and hidden homelessness," he told us. "We're given inaccurate figures to paint a much better picture of what's going on—the reality is we have an alarming rise in homelessness and a shocking decline in the services people need."

Along with Reggie Yates' films, BBC Three been producing some really important documentaries that don't talk down to young people. Let's hope they continue when the channel moves online.

Professor Green: Hidden and Homeless is on BBC Three at 9pm tonight, and will then be on iPlayer.
