Oprah Winfrey got the last laugh on Sunday following an abysmal Twitter fail from Total Beauty, a prominent beauty advice site with more than 50,000 Twitter followers. Sadly, this inexcusable folly occurred ahead of an Oscars broadcast already plagued with controversy stemming from its unbearable whiteness:

The tweet, which was of course deleted after nearly the entire planet started ripping Total Beauty to absolute shreds, expressed the company's surprise that Oprah "was #tatted" but they totally loved it. Of course, as one's own eyes can attest, that is in fact Whoopi Goldberg and not Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah, presumably surprised by Total Beauty's assertion that she was actually Whoopi Goldberg, promptly hit the 'gram in response:

"I feel pretty good if you're comparing me to Oprah," Goldberg said in her own response to the Twitter fail on Monday morning's The View. "It could have been a lot worse, you know what I mean?" In their follow-up to the embarrassing error, Total Beauty pledged to drop $10,000 on charities of Oprah and Whoopi's choice.

"We’d like to apologize to Oprah and Whoopi, as well as everyone we’ve offended," the company tweeted later Sunday evening. "It was our error, and there are no excuses. We’re sorry."
