Street Fighter V is out this week, so Capcom are trying to get the game everywhere. One of many things they have done was get self-confessed massive gamer Lupe Fiasco to take on one of the world’s greatest Street Fighter players Diago Umehara at the game, at a launch event. And, uh, somehow Lupe won.

To put that in context, Diago is like the Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo of Street Fighter. This is like if Lupe Fiasco beat Novak Djokovic over five sets. That would never happen, right? So now loads eSports fans think it was clearly a fix, and Diago let the big name guest win. Kotaku asked organisers MadCatz if it was staged, and they’d totally denied it. But that hasn’t quelled the conspiracy theories.

(FYI, ‘sandbagging’ is a fighting game term for playing badly on purpose, or just not trying).

Lupe did stunt this sick 'Metal Gear Solid' jacket tho.
