Leonardo DiCaprio, America's favorite bear-wrestling vape enthusiast, has officially decided to dip his future Oscar-winning toes back into the treacherous waters of The Revenant with his next project. The DiCaprio-starring Conquest has been taken in as part of the Paramount fam, the Hollywood Reporterconfirms.
Conquest is set to feature a script by Mark L. Smith, who previously entered the DiCaprio universe as a co-writer on the aforementioned Revenant's wintry fun. Smith also penned the 2007 snuff horror thriller Vacancy, starring a befuddled Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale:
Of course, Smith and DiCaprio are clearly a very winning combination. The Revenant, directed by Birdman's Alejandro G. Iñárritu, earned a bragworthy 12 Oscar nominations including that elusive Best Actor distinction. Sadly, DiCaprio will not be able to engage in his usual televised vaping activities.
Plot details surrounding Conquest remain a protected mystery, Variety reports.
