Do you miss being a kid and it being socially acceptable for you to play with Batman toys? You can of course get more grown up ‘collectors’ figures, made by people like Sideshow Toys, and they do look pretty dope.
But Sideshow’s latest Batman action figure is something else. For just $8000 you can get a seven foot tall toy of Batman from Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. Yes, you can have your own life-sized Ben Affleck, to stand in your bedroom or hallway, to look like you have a celebrity over to yours for dinner, or to scare off burglars. It’ll probably make a decent hatstand at least.
The 1:1 scale model stands 6.4ft —7.2ft with base!—and comes complete with “an armored head with light-up eyes, an authentic and detailed likeness of Batman’s lower face, a meticulously sculpted replica of the Batsuit and armor, a fabric cape, and a circular base with light-up function.”
