Imagine you had the power to build and possess robots—you know, bend them to your will using motion control instead of using a clunky remote control. It’s the stuff of science fiction dreams and even though the actual technology to control robots is still far off, tech company ZeroUI have made a breakthrough with 'Ziro' (which is pronounced like ‘pyro’ but with a ‘Z’—duh).

Showcased at this year’s Consumer Electronic Show (CES), the Ziro is a combination of a ‘build-your-own-robot’ set and a power glove. Well, we say ‘robot’ but it’s more like raw component parts such as motors that can power a robotic design.

However the 'Power Glove' is the real draw here, it links with a smartphone app, via Bluetooth, and you can command it through the use of motion control, therefore finally letting you live out your evil villain fantasies. One example is you can attach it to model with ‘moveable wings’ and motion it to fly.

Finally we get to say "Fly my pretties, Fly!"

However the downside is that these gadgets aren't cheap (no surprise there), the robot parts alone will set you back at least $149 - $199 (£102 - £136). Additionally the 'Power Glove' still looks like it’s in the proto-type phase. So you’re still a long way from forming the robot army you’ve always dreamed of.
