The jokesters over at Funny or Die have decided to examine the curious case of Jennifer Lawrence, a young, gorgeous, not to mention young, actor who seems to always play older women. One exception is The Hunger Games' mega-franchise leader Katniss Everdeen whom is younger than 25-year-old Lawrence. Can you blame that baby face for playing a teen? Lawrence's persona has led on that she enjoys things aged like a fine wine, especially when it comes to romance having famously flirted with womanizer Jack Nicholson and recently joking that she reallyenjoyed Larry David's impression of fellow older person presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Lawrence actually gave David her phone number. Funny or Die takes Lawrence's affinity for playing older and creates a trailer for her oldest character yet.
Funny or Die gives audiences a run down of her old age roles. In Silver Linings Playbook, she was 21 and played girlfriend to 38-year-old Bradley Cooper (for which she was won an Oscar, no big deal.) A 23-year-old Lawrence played a slightly unhinged mother of a 5-year-old and wife to 39-year-old Christian Bale in American Hustle. Joy, Lawrence's latest, sees her playing a 40-year-old. Jeez. As Lawrence makes 30-years-and-older Hollywood actresses look like corpses here she steals a grandma role in Funny or Die's Old Lady Who Looks Really Young & Hot as an "89-year-old woman who looks like she's 16."
