It hasn't been too long since Breaking Bad's been off the air, but Aaron Paul is taking another, hopefully successful, stab at TV. The actor, best known for playing Jesse Pinkman on the AMC drama, will now star in The Path, a Hulu original about a group of individuals belonging to a fictional cult.

As evidenced by Going Clear and The Leftovers, people really seem to be interested in cult behavior as of late. Speaking at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, Paul spoke up about the upcoming series and getting back into TV.

“I wasn’t really looking to jump back into TV this quickly, but my reps called and said, ‘You must read these first two episodes,’” Paul said. “I read them and I just could not ignore the material. It was just so gripping and so beautifully written and so well done."

The Path, which is executive produced by Jessica Goldberg, Michelle Lee, and Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood), continues Hulu's serious effort to offer engaging original content like competitors Netflix and Amazon. Hulu picked it up for a full ten episodes, which will begin to air on March 30.

The trailer, which also stars Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy in his first post-Hannibal role, looks gorgeous, dark, and seriously good—something Paul clearly picked up on.
