With Donald Trump currently quite busy traveling the nation while delivering an unbroken stream of offensive commentary on world events, those old enough to remember the 2008 presidential election might often find themselves thinking (or, worst case scenario, saying) things like "Remember Sarah Palin? This is actually worse." Indeed. Palin, however, is still remarkably active in the political sphere for reasons not entirely clear. During a recent 700 Club interview, Palin finally delivered her much-anticipated theories on how the country should handle the ongoing ISIS controversy:
"You have to quit being this namby-pamby, kind of milquetoast, 'let’s discuss things with them, let’s reach out and try to understand them,'" Palin told Wendy Griffith, as captured by Right Wing Watch. "No, they’re the enemy, they’re evil." Though lacking in specifics, Palin didn't stop at taking a firm stance against the namby-pamby.
"It’s so naïve," Palin said. "It’s a scary kind of naïve that anyone would believe that the radical Islamic movement, jihad, that it could be understood, leading to some kind of embracing of it. We have to be honest about it. It has to be stopped." Thankfully, Palin made sure to deliver these plans while resting comfortably in front of a stack of books she wrote.
