Come on, Iowa.

The life of a struggle candidate is, without a doubt, quite the struggle indeed. With Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders inarguably absorbing almost every ounce of possible Democratic shine ahead of the 2016 presidential election, confirmedTaylor Swift stan Martin O’Malley has gleefully stepped into the role of leading struggle candidate with an admirable amount of grace.

That grace was on full display in Iowa earlier this week when O'Malley managed to draw an astounding one person at a snow-drenched campaign event, CNN reports. "We decided to plow through, quite literally some times," O'Malley explained to MSNBC on Tuesday. "The very last event of the night we actually had a whopping total of one person show up, but by God, he was glad to see me." The voter allegedly showed up because he was "unsure about who to support," an uncertainty that inadvertently prompted a one-on-one discussion with the former Maryland governor.

In that spirit, let's revisit O'Malley's take on T. Swift's "Bad Blood," which exists for reasons not entirely clear:
