Gorillas—they’re just like us! One zoogoer discovered gorillas love cuddly cat videos as much as people do—an app has even been created just for watching them all in one place— while on a visit to Kentucky’s Louisville Zoo and someone caught it on video. A couple of months ago we heard about a Western lowland gorilla at the Louisville zoo who was unimpressed when a man showed him pictures of gorillas on his cellphone. Could this be the same gorilla? Why does he like cats more than gorillas?
The video was posted to Twitter last night by 16-year-old Sierra Sheard. Tech Insider spoke to Sheard about the adorable moment. She made it clear that the gorilla was attentively watching the videos on the person's cellphone saying he would “reposition himself” whenever the girl moved and when she moved her phone. Sheard even shared that the gorilla laughed during a video saying, “At one point he even threw his head back and laughed at one of the videos. He had what appeared to be a smile on his face."
Imagine if this gorilla could somehow visit the museum exhibit dedicated to internet cats and all of their viral videos. He'd be purrrfectly content.
