This week in things you should never do for fear of losing your job and credibility as a decent person, a man identified as a Taco Bell executive has been fired from the company after video surfaced of him attacking his Uber driver.

As we reported yesterday, video surfaced last weekend of a Newport Beach, Calif. resident identified as Taco Bell executive Benjamin Golden physically beating his Uber driver Edward Caban. The altercation began after Caban ended the ride because Golden was reportedly too intoxicated to clearly articulate the directions to his destination.

After a brief verbal exchange between the two, Caban can be heard telling Golden to exit the vehicle “or I will call the police.” As Golden opens his door he leans back in and hauls off with multiple punches to the side of Caban’s head, yells profanities at him, and pulls his hair.

At this point Caban pulls out a can of pepper spray and lays it on homeboy, managing to get him out of the car and becoming the clear winner of this battle of the wills. Anyway, Caban caught it all on film and Golden was later taken into police custody and banned from using Uber for life, reports Mashable. He was also fired by Taco Bell for being a garbage person.

"Given the behavior of the individual, it is clear he can no longer work for us," the company told Adweek in an email. "We have also offered and encouraged him to seek professional help."

Seriously, let this be a lesson to all of us to treat our cab drivers with the respect they deserve for having to put up with our drunk asses.
