Mother of First Responder Who Died on 9/11 Says Donald Trump and His "Pro-Nazi Policies" Should Leave America

"You're not eligible to be a president of any country," says Talat Hamdani.

When Donald Trump was confronted by reporters earlier this month about how, exactly, his proposed "Muslim database plan" was any different from Nazi Germany, he Trumpishly responded with "You tell me" four times in a row. Of course, plenty of people promptly (and awesomely) did exactly that. Talat Hamdani, the mother of a first responder who died during the terrorist attacks on September 11th, decided to school Trump on some basic world history before suggesting he promptly leave the country.

"[Trump’s] grandparents came from Germany," Hamdani told MSNBC. "So, maybe it’s time for him to go back to Germany and advocate his pro-Nazi policies over there." Hamdani's son Mohammad Salman was also a Muslim-American, according to the Huffington Post. As for Trump and his fellow Republican candidates' generally preposterous comments on the Muslim community ahead of the 2016 presidential election, Hamdani says no one who entertains such rhetoric should ever be anywhere near the White House.

"If you are running for a presidential position,"  Hamdani said, "you are taking an oath to defend the Constitution. But, here you are, you will violate the Constitution. You’re not eligible to be a president of any country." For more on stories that somehow end up involving both Donald Trump and Nazis, please consult that time he trumped himself by tweeting a bizarre Nazi photo. If that's not quite your cup of tea, maybe try that other time he trumped himself with additional Nazi action on Twitter.
