Over the weekend, adult film star and writer Stoya took to Twitter to detail an alleged rape at the hands of fellow adult film star and former boyfriend James Deen. "James Deen held me down and fucked me while I said no, stop, used my safe word," Stoya tweeted. "I just can't nod and smile when people bring him up anymore." Deen wasted little time delivering his response via Instagram, insisting that he respects women and all associated limits "both professionally and privately."

However, in the days since Stoya’s accusation, at least two more adult film stars have come forward with harrowing accounts of their own alleged violent encounters with porn’s so-called "boy next door." In an essay for the Daily Beast, former adult performer Tori Lux provided harrowing details on her experience with Deen during a shoot in 2011:

While James wasn’t performing with me that day, he was present on set—and almost immediately after I’d finished my scene he began to antagonize me. I hadn’t even had time to dress myself when he said, with a smirk on his face, "Tori Lux, would you like to sniff my testicles?" "Nope," I replied in a neutral tone. "I’ll repeat myself: Tori Lux, would you like to sniff my testicles?" he asked, more aggressively this time. I replied with a firm "No," in order to establish my boundary—which James then disregarded by grabbing me by the throat and shoving me down onto a mattress on the floor.

According to Lux, Deen then struck her in the face and head with an open palm "five or six times" while straddling her chest and obstructing her arms with his knees. "A few people with whom I’ve shared this story over the years have asked me why I didn’t call the police as soon as it happened," writes Lux, "or publicly speak up about it shortly thereafter. The reason for that is because people—including the police—tend to believe that sex workers have placed themselves in harm’s way, and therefore can’t be assaulted."

On Monday, adult film star Ashley Fires detailed her own James Deen encounter to the Daily Beast that she says Deen later confronted her about in an effort to silence her. "The reason I put him on my 'no list' was because he almost raped me," says Fires. "The only time I’d ever seen this guy, he walked in the green room at Kink, picks up Jessie Cox like a caveman, grabs her by the hair, and takes her off somewhere…and I can only imagine."

Later that same night, Fires says, Deen approached her from behind as she was exiting the shower in the communal bathroom at Kink and pushed his penis against her. "I reach for my towel to dry off, and he comes up from behind me and pushes himself and his erection into my butt," Fires details. "He pushes me against the sink and starts grabbing on me and I was like 'No, no, no, James, no,' and he released me from his grasp, and says, 'You know, later if you want to fuck around, I’m in room whatever-it-was. I was like, 'Fuck you.' He was so out of line and entitled with my body."

Additional former co-workers and supporters of Stoya have also come forward to offer their own words of encouragement surrounding this weekend's tweets, including Rizzo Ford and Kayden Kross:

Deen has not responded to these most recent accusations.
