Downloading is so obsolete.

Where would we be without Google? The tech giant changed the game for search engines, among other great endeavors, and now it’s about to make its mark on streaming.

The Daily Dotreports that beginning Wednesday, users will be allowed to stream an app on their phone instead of downloading. So if you’re on 10% battery and need to book a hotel real quick, you can stream all the info on Hotel Tonight without having to deal with downloads. This could turn out to be a real lifesaver for those on the go.

The apps currently available for the new feature are Hotel Tonight, Weather, Chimani, Gormey, My Horoscope, Visual Anatomy Free, Useful Knots, Daily Horoscope, and New York Subway. It’s also only accessible to Android phones with 6.0 Lollipop or higher and a Wi-Fi connection. It's not much, but it's a start.
