Having a long beard means there’s an opportunity for anything and everything to get caught in it. That’s why The Last Man on Earth star Will Forte took matters into his own hands and had it tested for germs. Actually, he was prompted by the influx of emails from friends forwarding an article about the presence of fecal matter in most beards.
The actor enlisted the help of The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon to deliver the results, with friends Jon Hamm and Rachel Dratch on hand for moral support. In case you were wondering, he tested positive for pseudomonas (commonly found in soil and dirty sneakers), serrata marcescens (found in dirty showers), staphylococcus (present in trash cans) and yeast. Spoiler alert: He tested negative for poop.
