The University of NSW is on high alert after a chilling anonymous post on 4Chan. Echoing the terror of the recent shooting in the US state of Oregon, a 4Chan user has posted a threat to the school, which has alerted school security and local law enforcement.
The threat was reportedly made against the UNSW Kensington campus, which has been liaising with the Anti-Terrorist department of the NSW police.
UNSW were quick to issue the above warning to Facebook, however students have commented with speculation that this is the work of stereotypical 4Chan trolls.
UNSW has not advised students to evacuate at this point. More information on this story as it becomes available.
