John Stamos Faces Up to Six Months in Jail After Being Hit With Misdemeanor DUI Charge

Full (and Fuller) House star John Stamos, who can currently be seen on the FOX series Grandfathered alongside former Drake & Josh star Josh Peck, is now facing up to six months in jail after being hit with a misdemeanor DUI charge. The charge stems from a June arrest in Beverly Hills, with local authorities claiming that Stamos was "acting strangely and driving erratically" prior to the arrest, according to Variety.

"On or about June 12, 2015, in the County of Los Angeles, the crime of DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A DRUG, in violation of VEHICLE CODE SECTION 23152(e), a Misdemeanor, was committed by JOHN PHILLIP STAMOS, who did drive a vehicle while under the influence of a drug," reads the complaint, filed on Thursday and excerpted by Deadline.

Though an arraignment is scheduled for Friday in Los Angeles Superior CourtStamos doesn’t legally have to be present and is expected to instead send an attorney on his behalf. An ongoing investigation into the incident is reportedly being conducted by the Beverly Hills Police Department.
