In 1979, the cult classic film by Walter Hill, The Warriors, came out, chronicling the tale of one gang’s voyage through Manhattan to Coney Island. Now, three decades later, the cast reunited to take one last subway ride to their home turf.
Fan Eric Nyenhuis organized the reunion and Rolling Stonefilmed the ride, mimicking the same shots that were originally in the film. Though they’re more wrinkled and grey than they were 36 years ago, the Warriors looked just as tough in their red leather vests and were greeted by dozens of fans and admirers throughout their journey.
