In case you missed the NBC-issued memo, American ninja warrioring is definitely a sport, and you're definitely not in good enough shape to participate. The sport, which mainly relegates its existence to the NBC event seriesAmerican Ninja Warrior, is a notoriously difficult battle against the self to the inspirational tune of a $1 million prize.

Monday's season finale managed to make history twice, with the successful completion of the notoriously ridiculous endurance course being achieved by both Isaac Caldiero and Geoff Britten. However, as with all instances of ninja warrioring, there can only be one true victor:

Though both Caldiero and Britten managed to finish the course, Caldiero bested Britten's time by a narrow 3.6 seconds. To put the difficulty of this feat into proper perspective, the fourth and final stage of the course consists of a 75-foot rope climb that sounds (and also looks) downright impossible.

In closing, go to the gym.
