The St. Louis County Police Department has released video (see above) they claim shows Tyrone Harris, Jr. pulling a gun during an incident in Ferguson. Shortly after the clip, presumably, Harris was shot and badly wounded by officers on the anniversary of Michael Brown's murder by officer Darren Wilson. The video is difficult to decipher, though repeated viewings show that a man in a white t-shirt does brandish a weapon after other shots are fired near civilians off-camera:

When Harris's shooting was initially reported, the 18-year-old's father revealed that his son and the late Michael Brown were "close" friends, and that he and the rest of the Harris family believes "there's a lot more to this than what's being said." Local authorities maintain that Harris fired upon officers before being shot and ultimately taken to the hospital. According to BBC, prosecutors filed 10 charges against Harris, including assaulting a police officer.
