Even George W. Bush Couldn't Skip Jury Duty

George W. Bush showed up for jury duty in Texas, just like an ordinary guy (with Secret Service guards).

Even George W. Bush couldn't get out of jury duty on Wednesday. Or, maybe he could have, but he just didn't have anything else to do.

Either way, the former president showed up at a Dallas courthouse like any other regular guy (who has Secret Service agents guarding him) to report for jury duty.

The proof is all over Twitter, where people showed that Bush was happy to pose for photos.

Man, he is soo much more likeable when he's just a goofy-grinning old dude who's not in charge of anything.

"He was very personable, very friendly, just 'Hey, I'm here to serve.' He asked questions and was very nice," one prospective juror told NBC News

Bush, big surprise, was not chosen to serve on a jury.
