UPDATE 07/03/15:

The Creedmunity has spoken again, this time quite loudly and enjoyably via a confusingly perfect Creed-i-fied version of the Creed trailer. Sadly, the petition is still numbering in the tens:

Original story:

We open with an excerpt from certified lit 1999 Best Rap Song of The Year "Higher," as performed by Creed — the audio equivalent of a sweaty TapouT t-shirt:

"Up high I feel like I'm alive for the very first time
Set up high I'm strong enough to take these dreams
And make them mine
Set up high I'm strong enough to take these dreams
And make them mine

That last part reportedly only exists in the new 2015 version, as fans of the now defunct (I think?) rock band have started a petition demanding that MGM rename the forthcoming Rockyspinoff entitled Creed — due to the fact that it's currently "making it difficult, if not impossible, for the still-vital online Creed fanbase to exchange thoughts and discussion regarding band developments, song interpretation, rumors, non-erotic fanfiction, and deeper insights into the expanded Creed universe."

Referring to themselves as the "Creedmunity," supporters of this bold declaration are also offering free suggestions for new names — including but hopefully not limited to:

Rocky's Creed

Boxer Creed

Rocky: The Next Generation

(and best of all)

Creed (Not the Band)

As of press time, we are still awaiting word on a similar petition started by fans of The Office character Creed Bratton:

Let us know.
