Knowing he deserved the ticket yet angry about where the money actually went, a North Carolina college student decided to pay his fines in pennies. Sixty pounds of pennies to be exact.

Stephen Coyle, 26, filled three plastic baskets with $110 in copper coins and took them to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte last week, according to WATE-TV.

"I started digging deeper of what the money was used for and 80 percent is redistributed to other schools instead of keeping it on campus," he told ABC News. "That's what upset me, which led to paying with the pennies."

So he did this all to make a point. Coyle argues that his university is the one that needs the money and basically wanted to let them know how he really felt. You tell 'em Coyle!
