Hold on tight to your precious, precious iPhone if you're walking the streets of Manhattan. Bicycle-riding thieves are apparently snatching phones right out of people's hands and pedaling away.

The NYPD released surveillance stills (above) of two alleged thieves today, who police say robbed iPhones from women aged 24 and 28 in Midtown last month by riding up and grabbing the phones from their hands as they used them.

These thieves don't seem to be keeping any particular hours. One robbery happened at 9:15 p.m. and the other was at 5 a.m.

iPhones have been a target for thieves for years because of their high resale value and the relatively large number of places to sell them used.

Amazingly, its not the first we've heard of bike-riding phone thieves in the city. Earlier this month, dash cam footage surfaced of a different robber pulling off a Galaxy S4 snatcheroo in broad daylight.
