Since its series premiere in 2013, Showtime's Masters of Sex has reignited conversations on sex and general intimacy — to proverbial watercooler chatter and beyond. Loosely based on the Thomas Maier book Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the Couple Who Taught America How to Love, the critically adored series stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan — skilled actors practically dripping with onscreen chemistry in all the right ways.
The third season's key art lays the speculation-proving groundwork further cemented by the new trailer (above), a playful dance around the very real possibility of a three-way dabbling shared by Dr. Masters (Sheen), Johnson (Caplan), and Libby Masters (Caitlin Fitzgerald):
