One of Hugh Heffner's other simultaneous girlfriends from the days of the E! reality series The Girls Next Door is calling B.S. on former playmate Holly Madison for claiming Hefner was abusive and pervy in her new memoir.

In an excerpt from her book published in Us Weekly, Madison wrote that the first time she met Hef he asked if she wanted a quaalude and referred to the drugs as "thigh openers." She also wrote that Hef manipulated the women in the house and would emotionally abuse her if she changed her appearance.

Kendra Wilkinson, another former bunny, who appeared on The Girls Next Door with Madison while living at the Playboy mansion in the mid-2000s says it's not true.

"I feel bad for Hef," Wilkinson told People. "He's an amazing human being."

Earlier this week, Hefner released his own statement about the book:

"Over the course of my life I've had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy and productive lives, and I'm pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight."

Hefner, who turned 89 earlier this year, is now married to a different former bunny, Crystal Harris
