Former Playboy Bunny and Girls Next Door reality star Holly Madison talked about her abusive relationship with Hugh Hefner and in an excerpt from her new memoir Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny that her first encounter with Hef included him offering her drugs, specifically quaaludes or “thigh openers” as they were apparently called in the ‘70s.Hef has indirectly responded to the story and Madison’s accusations of abuse in a statement to People magazine:

“Over the course of my life I’ve had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives, and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight. I guess, as the old saying goes: You can’t win ‘em all!”

A source close to Madison told People she isn't exaggerating at all and that she only wants to expose what life at the mansion is really like. This makes sense considering Madison is now a mom and happily married. We'll have to wait and see if other bunnies will start coming forward with their own horror stories.
