For a lot of us, everything we know about hacking is based on the movies. Hollywood has a way of glamorizing the infamous and that has certainly been the case when it comes to modern-day hackers. Turns out, like most things, hackers and their oftentimes historic crimes have a history all of their own. Below, we navigate the world of the Deep Web from its earlier beginnings with Kevin Poulsen, the Hannibal Lecter of computer crime, to Lulzsec, best known for the recent Sony Pictures hack.
