Two Utah men were arrested earlier this month after one of them, compelled by the overwhelming power of love, decided to rob a local credit union to procure bail money to free his girlfriend from jail.

According to the New York Daily News, Robert Phillip Rivas, 26, and Armando Jesse Ambriz, 28, robbed Pleasant Grove, Utah's Utah Community Credit Union on May 4. After utilizing disguises (wigs, fake mustaches and beards, etc.), they escaped with an unrevealed amount of money.

However, the Ambriz was arrested not too long after the crime because he strolled past a police station—while still in costume. Although Rivas was able to bail his girlfriend out of jail, he was also arrested and charged with robbery and obstruction of justice, like Ambriz.
