The scandal around Josh Duggar is getting more and more uncomfortable. In this 2008 clip from the Duggars' TLC show 19 Kids and Counting, Josh can be seen making a joke about two of his siblings dating, a joke which disturbingly seemed to get a lot of laughs from producers off-camera.

In the video, Josh talked about going to see a movie with his fiancee at the time. The Duggars (meaning, Josh's parents) don't allow their kids to go on dates on their own before they're married, so Josh had to take a chaperone. When he realized that his sister Jinger wasn't old enough to chaperone him to an 18-and-older movie, Josh suggested his siblings John David and Jana, and said, "Why not make it a double date?"

He was clearly cracking a joke, and the scene cuts to Josh laughing with some people off-camera and going, "We are from Arkansas!" But it looks bad—Josh is 20 years old here, not much older than when he admitted he was abusing younger girls, including his sister. Not to mention it looks bad for the Duggars as a whole; Josh's father, Jim Bob reportedly knew about the abuse that was happening for over a year before coming forward to the police.

Josh has said in a statement that he is "extremely sorry" for his actions and that he knows he hurt his family and close friends.
