Hulu has busted out the defibrillator to save The Mindy Project's life. After being canceled by Fox just a week ago, the show will return for a 26-episode season on the streaming service, Deadline reports. Hulu has the option to pick up even more episodes but doesn't have to do so until the not-yet-announced season four premiere date. Old episodes of The Mindy projects were already exclusive to Hulu.
"I am thrilled The Mindy Project has found a new home on Hulu, where so many of our fans are already watching the show," Mindy Kaling told Deadline.

— Mindy Kaling (@mindykaling) May 15, 2015This marks the second time The Mindy Project has been revived after an attempt on its life. NBC made a script order for the show but declined to go any further. Eventually the producers were able to get a pilot order and a full series from Fox.
